Another "The Romantic Period" outlook,1997-2002,inspired and produced in Vigo,Spain and definitely one of the most striking artworks series of the artist ever.
Again,it seems it's never too much to overlook Antonio Pessoa's unique and outstanding Romantic Period,1997-2002,the endless well-acted series of artworks aiming so many different aspects of fine arts and furthermore,getting it done by the magical dynamic force and energy of an artist so incredibly involved with the basic pure studio hard work and continuous research.
Therefore,in so doing,Antonio Pessoa during those super-productive years living in Vigo,Spain,actually accomplishes art results beyond even his closest friends expectations turning huge blank canvases into splendid and amazing high quality artworks.

www.thenewera-antoniopessoa.com ,October flows and runs at the speed of sound,the perfect therapy when it comes to scare the crows away,art action proving to be the divine scarecrow,while black angels and goblins keep on trying to haunt the artist's peace of mind,arousing specters from his past in the wicked hope of indeed spoiling his present.
Coming from them and so "heartfelt" I have to just say they have been struggling with a lot of crap lately and so it seems that thanks God the boomerang effect is no legend after all...?!!!!!!
Circumstances or some people's poisonous substances whether with malevolent lies,cheap tricks or venomous criticism and vicious gossip.
Antonio Pessoa between art action and deep reflection walks hands in his pockets and a smile on his face along the walls of his private medieval castle.The Summer is gone but talent not just yet.Many acquaintances,the mediocre crowd isn't going to come back as in the meantime new good trustworthy real friends enter pleasurably in the artist's universe,feeling good,doing fine and getting high.
Vultures,bats,crows,goblins,chickens and rabbits plus all of them burrowing animals of the family Leporidae,disguised as domesticated lambs,pets,although willing to strike werewolves on the lookout waiting for the quarry,the invisible target of an artisthunt,but the "stone pit" as the english say doesn't need to rush away just because one more time he sure knows he's been framed once,now he definitely isn't looking forward to be framed twice.
So the artist goes,blows and throws them a kiss meaning no hard feelings whatsoever,you're all free anytime to come back to me but if you wish to go who am I to hold you back,if you think that's the wise thing to do then don't stand by me.
Who framed Antonio Pessoa,well,that's something you might enjoy brooding about,nevertheless that's for him to know and for us to find out.
In the meantime,as time goes by,The New Era keeps on growing like a tree.

Antonio Pessoa celebrates life as always in his always unique style,pleasurably facing the contradictory elements of nature,reality,global perspective and professional challenge.
A key factor in his success,work,brightness,wit ,humor and talent,one by one building up the whole and striking the obstructions that stand in the way creating sensation with his spectacular display of colors and lights.
Day after day he bullfights the challenges and dances with the devil while turning on the creative machine wich pushes him onward with the striking energy of a racing horse.His wisdom provides him with the right answers at the right time at the right place,dressing him up with the cool easy going suit of a know how excellency.
Antonio Pessoa takes the flight to Ibiza one more time over to Canary Islands and back,back anf forth about the places he loves the most and where the New Era collection grows and grows,more and more stamped with high quality contemporary art vision,a new concept heralding the new Art times.
Meantime his cooperative team keep on working,such as myself,on Antonio Pessoa's career while his agents in a take it or leave it continuous process reviewing one by one the good amount of art galleries proposals unfortunately not all of them by all means fitting the artist's stern,rigidly accurate,hard-and-fast convictions as how things have to be done,who,where,when and what for.
